An inverted U-shaped plate of blackened steel is bridged by a wood cabinet that has been burned in the Japanese method of “shou-sugi-ban”.  Custom pulls are subtly recessed to provide a functional accent. Contrasts of warm and cold, smooth and rough, tensile and solid are celebrated.
