This house; comprised of two bars which are pushed to the edges of its wedge shaped lot are rendered to express functions that are inverted from the traditional. Extroverted upper floor public spaces maximize views to the Cascade Mountains from this ridge top site while private bedrooms are housed on the introverted lower floor. This relationship of contrasts was inspired by the client’s description of their individual personalities.
