Dining Table

Dining Table

Equitable and Composed

Intentionally a square rectangle, this table for ten seats two at each end abolishing the traditional single “head” to encourage equity and conversation. The base is composed of blackened steel fins that delineate the place for each diner without impinging upon knee space. The Cerused oak top tapers from 3” at the center to ¾” at the perimeter to provide visual and physical lightness.  When installed, the base can be mortised flush with the floor to provide a built-in option.
